What We Believe
Our foundation in faith, doctrine, and biblical truth.
At International Bible University USA, our faith is firmly rooted in the unchanging Word of God. Our beliefs shape our mission, guide our teachings, and inspire our work in ministry and education. Below is our Statement of Faith, outlining the biblical principles that define who we are and what we stand for.

1: The Bible
We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
It is unchanging and relevant to all generations, providing guidance for faith and practice.
📖 Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12

2: The Nature of God
We believe in one true God, who eternally exists in three persons:
-
God the Father
-
God the Son
-
God the Holy Spirit
Each is fully God, yet distinct, co-equal, and co-eternal.
📖 Scripture: Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14

3: The Deity of Christ
Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. He was born without sin, making Him the perfect Savior of humanity.
📖 Scripture: John 1:1, Colossians 2:9, Hebrews 4:15

4: The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is fully God, actively working in the world and in the lives of believers.
He convicts, empowers, and sanctifies, leading believers into truth.
📖 Scripture: John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:11
5: The Fall of Man
All people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
As a result, humanity is separated from God and in need of salvation.
📖 Scripture: Romans 3:23, Genesis 3:1-24

6: Salvation by Grace
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
We are not saved by works, but by Christ’s finished work on the cross.
📖 Scripture: Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6

7: Sanctification
Believers are transformed by the Holy Spirit to become more like Christ daily.
📖 Scripture: Romans 12:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:23

8: The Church
We affirm that the Church is the Body of Christ on earth, established by Jesus Christ as the community of believers called to worship, serve, and proclaim the Gospel.
The Church’s mission is integral and holistic, addressing both spiritual and physical needs.
📖 Scripture: Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 1:22-23

9: Ordinances of the Church
We observe the two ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ:
-
Water Baptism as a public declaration of faith.
-
Holy Communion in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.
📖 Scripture: Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

10: The Blessed Hope
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish His eternal Kingdom.
📖 Scripture: Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

11: The Millennial Reign of Christ
Christ will literally return to reign for 1,000 years, establishing peace, justice, and righteousness.
📖 Scripture: Revelation 20:1-6, Isaiah 9:6-7

12: The Final Judgment
We believe in a final judgment, where all people will be resurrected and judged according to their works.
Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire, suffering eternal separation from God.
📖 Scripture: Revelation 20:11-15, 2 Corinthians 5:10

13: The New Heavens and the New Earth
We believe in the promise of a New Heaven and a New Earth, where God will dwell with His people forever.
There will be no more suffering, pain, or death - only everlasting joy in the presence of the Lord.
📖 Scripture: Revelation 21:1-4, Isaiah 65:17
